Important Characters should be.................

The book's main characters are mainly(NOT in order of important):
1)The narrator and family
2)Friedrich and family
3)Herr Resch

I think that these characters are the most important as the story mostly revolves around Friedrich's life as a Jew and it also shows the discrimination shown towards him. The narrator is important as the story is from his point of view, one that is of a German ,who unlike the stereotype German at that time, did not dislike Jews. Herr Resch is there(not forgetting his Garden Gnome)as he was a German who disliked Jews as he was there to show the treatment given to Jews. Even though such discrimination is shown throughout the book, Herr Resch's cruelty towards Jews was the most apparent!
