The most important character

I think all the characters are important as they show how the jews were mistreated, but the title speaks for itself, Friedrich and the narrator are the most important as the story is all about them, if Friedrich was not a jew, there would be nothing about the jews to write about. Herr Resch and Herr Schneider are the next most important and the rest of the characters are not so important. If Friedrich or the narrator was not present, there would not even be a title, or there would be no story, because the narrator has to write the story and Friedrich is the main focus of the story.
