WHO, is the most important in the book-Friedrich?

The most important characters, I shall list them from the most to least important.

-Friedrich
-"Me"
-The Schneider family
-"My"family
-Herr Resch
-German Nazis
-Helga
-Frau Penk

My explanations:

Friedrich, is obviously the most important, as we can see from the title itself.
However, the title does not mean anything. Friedrich is the most important character because he is the person whom the author includes the most participation in the story. His life had changed the most. "I", being his best friend, would have a close relation with him. Therefore, "I" am the next in line.

I do not think the next two needs explanations as you can see for yourselves.

Herr Resch is the next most important as he "played a part" in Friedrich's death. The Nazi Germans too, so they go next in line.

Helga is next, as she had somewhat had a relation with Friedrich, and Frau Penk, the last as she does not have much participation in the story.
