who wants a muon or a pion?

sry 4 the mistake, i mean 2 to the power of 65536 i couldn't do superscript. and neutrons aren't blue. being the most geeky guy(maybe) in the class, i would like to tell all that pluto was disqualified because it could not clear the neighbour hood round its orbit and not because it is small. wonder why Xena was kicked out since it orbits @ 45degrees to the plane which all the planets revolve maybe it was captured from another star and congrats to voyager 1 for being the first man made thing to go beyond 100 AUs or the distance between earth and the sun and for latest updates on the heavens visit www.space.com its really cool! and if you are wondering, muons and pions are subatomic particles please do not make me suffer from cardiac arrest by posting ridiculous stuff like the moon was made by the big bang or stars are made of carbon
someone tell me where i can find a brief history of time by steven hawkings thanks and i want to apologize for the spelling mistake of vesta (maybe pallas and juno) and if you want my opinion, i will write that there are at least 13 planets as they did not say if dwarf planets r included r not

Pluto, Yu Jian Q's, Friedrich Q's

1. Pluto

Actually, I cannot figure out why Pluto was 'kicked out' of the Solar System. After all, like other planets, it moves in the shape of an ellipse and anyway orbits round the Sun. Everyone taking PSLE this year, pity yourselves and hope questions about 'HOW MANY PLANETS ARE THERE' don't come out.

To Joshua Chan:
If the smallest planets are gonna be kicked out, then:
Pluto bye, Mercury bye...and so on

2.Yu Jian Q's

Um... SInce 0!=1, can we assume that anything x 0 = 1?If that's the case, then 0X infinity = 1, and Yu Jian owes me a dollar.
Next, 5 2s = 10
2X2X2X2X2 = 32
52 = 52
5 2s = 10s
265536 = 265536
2X2X2X2X 265536 = 4248276
Now, Yu Jian most probably owes me $51 (hopefully)

3. Friedrich Q's

About the Pogrom, I just think he was curious, then suddenly someone gave him a hammer, then after accidentally smashing some glass, his weird 'sense of fun'(destroying things)overwhelmed him.

The main character need not be the most important. The story revolves around (and features)Friedrich, but the narrator's feelings also were included, and thus affected parts of the story. Thus, I think the narrator is the most important. Besides, the story IS told from the narrator's point of view.

About the 'WHAT WAS FEATURED IN HIS/HER LIFE part:

It features just about everything that happened in his short life:
His feelings and actions

SORRY

i forgot to add in part about progrom

I think he joined in because he saw many people destroying the house and decided to join in. He probably also thought that he could loot some items from the house in the wreckage. What a greedy pig.

Sorry i forgot to add this is my last post.

Pluto Pogrom

Wellwellwell

Teachers day just passed and we had a blast of a celebration! but more on the main topic now...

edward foo. how dare you copy mr brown's richard gere. i shall do the original version.

Scene 1:
Pluto: Hello, my 8 brothers and I are going on a journey. I would like to bring us good luck. Nine moons please.
Shopkeeper: Sorry, no more moon's brother. The cursed Richard Gere bought every single moon in my shop. I am going to retire now.
Pluto:*sob*
Shopkeeper: Goodness gracious me! Why are you crying my child!
Pluto: Curse you Richard Gere! Curse your eyes! Curse your moons! Curse your grey hair! Now my whole family is going to die!
Shopkeeper: Why my child!
Pluto: The stupid Richard Gere bought ALL the moons! Now i cannot wish them any good luck...

*The nine planets set off for a journey*
*Car brakes heard*
*SCREEECCHH*

Mercury: PLUTO! WHY ARE YOU BLEEDING!
Pluto: The...*cough*...stupid Richard Gere...bought all the moons... now i am going to die...
Mercury: Why he buy all the moons?
Pluto: Some girl named Sedna wanted to buy two moons, not enough gravity, only enough for one moon.
Mercury: Then he could have bought one moon! So that she would have one plus one equals to two moons!
Pluto: *cough*... curse you lousy at mathematics american credit card ambassador...
*Pluto dies*
The other eight planets: NOOOOOOOOO.....

Scene 2:
One day, the nine planets were brought to a firing squad. They were to be shot down one by one. However...

right before the first shot:
Mercury: METEOR SHOWER!
and with that, Mercury escaped

second shot:
Venus: FLOOD!
and just like mercury, Venus escaped.

Third shot:
Earth: HUMANS!
Earth got away.

and this went on, with the other five planets shouting:
Earthquake! Martian invasion! hurricane katrina! tsunami! and STOMACH ACHE!

When it came to pluto...
Pluto: FIRE!
BANG.
and that ended the reign of pluto.

Scene 3:
Gurmit Astral Singh: And we are down to our top 9 in Planetary Idol. Tonight, one of these nine contestants is going home. You all have voted for your favourite idols, and i cannot emphasize this enough; every vote counts. So if you all want your favourites to stay in the competition, please vote wisely. I shall read the results now...
In random order, i shall read the names of 6 idols who are coming back to us next week...Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Venus, Neptune. You are safe.
We now have Earth, Mars and Pluto with us on stage...
(Earth mumbles to Mars: I think the small guy will die leh.)
(Mars: Me too. See he so small...)
Gurmit Astral Singh: Mars... you are safe.
(applause)
Now we are left with two idols...
Earth... Pluto... Earth...
Earth...
We will see you next week.
Sorry pluto but your idol journey ends here...

Now. wasn't that great. Please give comments and have a nice day!

The Pogrom

I think the narrator took part in the destruction of the Jewish house because:

1. Seeing so many people outside the Jewish house, the narrator was curious and joined the group to find out what was happening.

2. When the narrator started destroying the house, he was so caught up in the action that he was probably not thinking about what he was doing but just did it.

3.After destroying so many things, he began to enjoy it and had an urge to destroy everything he could see in the house.

About Pluto becoming a "dwarf planet" instead of a planet, i think it depends on point of view you take. No comments apart from this.

In Simple Terms

On reading the depressing story of the "murder" of the beloved ex-ninth planet, I would like to express my deepest sorrow for its demise.

In Simple Terms (Plain English) I feel sad for Pluto for being removed from the list.

Joshua has raised a very good point about the PSLE Science Exam regarding the (now eight) planets. All we can do now is hope that such a question will not come out.

In the meantime, we can laugh at the Science assessment book publishers as their books suddenly become scientifically inaccurate.

About the Progrom, I think the author was overwhelmed by his "latent hunger for destruction" and joined in. I don't think his thinking was swayed by the Anti-Jewish influences around him. The narrator should not allow these events to drive a wedge between himself and Friedrich. After all, we are all fellow humans. Racial discrimination should not be tolerated.

Please enlighten me if I am wrong!

Help! There are only 33 days 9 hours and 11 min to English PSLE by the time I publish this post! ("Assuming" the exam starts at 8.15 am )
