Main characters of Friedrich

There are two (I think) main characters of Friedrich. They are Friedrich and the narrator (but Friedrich is the MAIN main character so I'm just going to talk about him). I think everyone know's why Friedrich is the main character. He is the reason why this book was written (and I do not think I need to mention that his name is the name of this book) and everything in the book is about him. He sort of 'represented' the Jews and how they were treated by the Germans during the Holocaust. The Jew's houses were ransacked and all thier things destroyed (did that really happen? I did not know there were such evil people). That happened to Friedrich too. I think Friedrich is very important in this book and without him, the story would not exist (the narrator is not really as important as Friedrich because Friedrich himself could be the narrator, but still the narrator's rather important).
